Former Panthers player launching fitness business

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Following a 10-year career in the NFL, this former Carolina Panthers player is launching a new business venture in the Queen City.

Mike Tolbert and his wife, Shianette, have signed a development agreement with locally-based RockBox Fitness with plans to open a location in SouthPark this summer, according to a news release.

RockBox studios combine boxing, kickboxing and functional training into high-energy group workouts.
