FORT MILL, S.C. — A Fort Mill man told Channel 9 time is running out while he waits for a kidney transplant.
Nick Koulpasis started having severe stomach pain in 2013 and didn’t get answers until six years later. Doctors told him he contracted an unknown virus that left serious damage to his kidneys.

“I’ve been at about 10 percent for two years,” he said.
