SOUTH CAROLINA — There are new details about the deployment of South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley's husband.
On Wednesday a guard spokeswoman said First Lieutenant Haley will leave Jan. 10 and stay in Afghanistan for a year.
Haley's unit works with Afghan farmers to improve their farming practices.
It will be Haley's first deployment overseas.
