NORTH CAROLINA — The state of North Carolina now has an artificial intelligence oversight team, according to reports from WRAL.
An executive order regarding the decision was signed by Governor Josh Stein on Tuesday.
It will create an AI Leadership Council, as well as direct all state agencies to create the team.
Stein said the goal is to improve services for people in the state.
