Officials said the accident happened just before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Doster Road and Rocky River Road South.
Troopers said a car crossed the centerline and traveled 30 to 40 feet off the roadway into a culvert.
They said the driver had an out of state driver's license, and they’re having trouble locating the driver's family. Troopers said the man who died is in his 50s.
Investigators said because the car was cold to the touch, the crash likely happened overnight.
Troopers don’t know why the car went off the road. They’re hoping the autopsy can provide more answers.
This is an ongoing investigation. Check back with wsoctv.com for updates.
