Currently, the price for regular unleaded gas in Charlotte is $2.69 per gallon, but experts say prices along the coast will likely spike.
However, Charlotte is far enough inland that we shouldn’t see a major jump here.

The GasBuddy app is reporting less than 1 percent of gas stations have run out of fuel but if evacuees come through the area, and as people top off out of panic, that could change.
