Iredell County man faces felony charges after series of break-ins

STATESVILLE, N.C. — A man is now in jail after deputies accused him of trying to break into several homes and cars in Statesville.

Iredell County sheriff’s deputies arrested Adam Packard Friday morning. They say he was trying to break into two homes around Pilch Road.

As the investigation unfolded, detectives were able to connect Packard to a series of car break-ins and thefts that occurred between March 24 and 26.

Investigators searched Packard’s house and say they found items that had been stolen from cars and drugs.

He’s now facing multiple felony charges related to the break-ins and thefts.
