Ivanka Trump gets tour of Belmont

Ivanka Trump received a warm welcome in Belmont on Thursday morning while visiting some of the local hot spots downtown.

According to our partners at the Gaston Gazette, Ivanka Trump hit Cherub’s Cafe and even made a treat at the Cotton Candy Factory. Both businesses are run by Holy Angels.

Trump, who also serves as a White House adviser to her father, visited Gaston County to attend a private event. The Gazette reported that she and her son ate dinner Wednesday night at Webb’s Custom Kitchen, reportedly spent the night in a Gastonia hotel and then toured Belmont.
