Local restaurateur gives inside look at ‘elegant' South End concept

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Link & Pin is narrowing in on a Nov. 18 opening in Charlotte’s South End.

That 6,500-square-foot restaurant is located at 155 New Bern St., on the ground floor of the Bradham apartment complex.

It’s the newest concept for restaurateur Rob Duckworth, also behind Duckworth’s Grill & Taphouse and The Cellar at Duckworth’s. He said the price tag comes in at “over a million, but less than $2 million.”

“It really helps keep expanding our reach in Charlotte. It’s a brand that doesn’t compete with what we already do,” Duckworth said.

The restaurant is currently in an invite-only soft opening.

It took roughly 40 weeks — and multiple weekly tastings — for Chef Fred Quinones and the team behind Link & Pin to perfect the menu.
