Low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines adding CLT flights to Miami, New York

CHARLOTTE — A low-cost carrier that started operating at Charlotte Douglas International Airport about three years ago is adding two routes to its local schedule this fall.

In November, Spirit Airlines Inc. will launch daily flights at Charlotte Douglas to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport and Miami International Airport. Flights will start on Nov. 1. to LaGuardia Airport and on Nov. 7 to Miami, the airline confirmed in a statement to CBJ.
