Man arrested multiple times says he's changing his life

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man police said has been arrested 15 times spoke to Channel 9. Brandon Kennedy is out of jail Friday even though he was arrested six times in the last three years.

Kennedy is facing drug charges, but he said he's been to rehab and has turned his life around.

"That's not that the guy that I am. I'm a good guy. I go to church. I go to the Baptist (church) right here. I'm in school. I go to Central Piedmont, and I own my own business -- I cut hair. I'm changing my life," he said.

Police said Kennedy ran from them in September and abandoned a car that had drugs and nearly $10,000 in it.
