CHERRYVILLE, N.C. — A man died Monday in an accident with a paintball canister, Cherryville police said.
Police said the 38-year-old man was trying to put duct tape on the carbon dioxide canister when it blew up in his hand, knocked him over and killed him.
The cause was not known, police said.
The canister appears to belong to the man who was killed.
