MATTHEWS, N.C. — A missing 17-year-old from Matthews has been found safe, police said Tuesday.
Makenzie Ann LeGrande was last seen on Sunday around 1 a.m. She was walking in the area of Oscar Drive, near the intersection of Idlewild Road and Matthews-Mint Hill Road.
LeGrande is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. She has medium length brown hair and light blue-gray eyes.
