Mental health advocate helps people spot signs someone is considering suicide

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With so much uncertainty during the COVID-19 pandemic, it can cause a lot of stress.

But how do you know if someone needs helps? What kind of signs should you look out for?

“I’m online now instead of in the classroom. Mental health is at the forefront right now and so is suicide. Because people are isolated and at home, they are reaching out for resources to help other people,” said Fonda Bryant, a mental health advocate.
