• Mold causes evacuation at Waxhaw town hall

WAXHAW, N.C. - Waxhaw's town hall is shut down while workers try to remove mold from the walls.

The city sent Channel 9 photos of the mold.

Employees moved out of the building late last week after the mold was discovered in the town manager’s office.

The city is waiting for testing to come back in a few days to find out if the mold is dangerous.

Removal of the mold is expected to cost a couple thousand dollars.
