YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A person has been recovered from Lake Wylie in York County following a water rescue Monday evening.
According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, multiple agencies responded to Ebenezer Boat Landing around 7:40 p.m. after a person jumped from a boat and did not resurface.
Around 8:40 p.m., divers announced that a person had been recovered from the lake.
Crews from the York County Sheriff’s Office, the York County Office of Emergency Management, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, and the Newport Fire Department were assisting with the search.
