WILMINGTON, N.C. — As fans get ready for the release of "Iron Man 3," North Carolina's tourism department is looking to cash in on the movie that was shot around Wilmington.
The movie premiered Sunday night in Wilmington.
Later this week, the state will launch a sweepstakes for the nationwide opening.
Winners will receive a free trip and gift certificates to Wilmington restaurants.
They will also visit attractions like Battleship North Carolina, where one scene was filmed.
The movie stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley and Don Cheadle.
The movie hits theaters on Friday.
