ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Neighbors in Rowan County said they’re being kept up at night by tractor trailers, parked and idling, right outside their homes.
They said it’s been happening for years and has gotten worse. Jeff Settle and his neighbors off Interstate 85 at Exit 79 have complained to the sheriff, NCDOT, Highway Patrol and state lawmakers.
“This is one of the very few exits in Rowan County where there are lot of houses,” one person said.
>> In the video at the top of the page, Channel 9′s Gina Esposito found out why the trucks are parking by the homes.
