Y0RK COUNTY, S.C. — Some York County residents are raising concerns about a proposed housing development near Nims Lake, a site once known for its camp and dance hall.

Tri‑Pointe Homes is seeking approval to build more than 100 homes in the area.

Neighbors say they want clearer answers about potential traffic issues and environmental impacts before the project moves forward.

The plans are expected to return to the county council for review in June, according to the Herald.
