New surveillance photos released after credit union robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Investigators have released a photo of the car they think is connected to a robbery at a credit union in Charlotte.

The Truliant Federal Credit Union on Back Creek Drive was robbed on Thursday afternoon.

The robber is described as a black man with a light complexion who is in his late 20s. He is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, has a thin build and was wearing a dark hooded jacket, investigators said.

Investigators think the man left the scene in a blue Hyundai Sonata, possibly a 2005 model.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600 or FBI Charlotte at 704-672-6100.
