New tool allows VA and patients to communicate through video chat

The Department of Veterans Affairs Video Connect mobile app connects patients with their health care team from anywhere.

Patients can launch Video Connect from a computer browser or by using the iOS app.

Veterans need to talk to their health care team to see if using the app to receive health care is the best way to communicate.

It is ideal for those who live in rural areas and who live far away from hospitals and facilities.
