NORTH CAROLINA — North Carolina must be a good place to live, according to the findings of a recent study by Atlas Van Lines based on data of moves handled by the company.
The Tar Heel State is tops in the South — and No. 3 in the country — in a study of relocation destinations released by Atlas.
In general, states in the South and West continued to dominate the list of states with the highest percentage of customers moving in.
According to the study, 62.6% of interstate moves involving North Carolina customers in 2018 were inbound. Only Nevada (67.8%) and Idaho (66.2%) had higher inbound percentages.
