Norwood police look for info on those involved in hit-and-run

NORWOOD, N.C. — The Norwood Police Department is seeking information on the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident.

The Stanly News and Press reported that at roughly 5:50 p.m.?Dec. 19, Norwood police responded to a hit-and-run accident with two pedestrians being struck by a vehicle on U.S. Route 52 in front of the Dollar General Store.

The vehicle is described as a light-colored passenger car with right-front damage.
