• Officer patrolling east Charlotte finds man shot in his car

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - An officer patrolling east Charlotte found a man who was shot in his car, Monday night.

    The officer spotted the SUV next to a convenience store on Milton Road near Barrington Drive.

    When the officer walked over to the car, he noticed a window was shot out and the man inside had a gunshot wound.

    Jeremy Brown, 28, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

    Police have not said if they have a suspect.
