ROCK HILL, S.C. — An officer’s gun accidentally went off while the officer was cleaning it in an office at the Rock Hill Police Department Law Center, police said.

It happened at 3:50 p.m. Monday.
The bullet hit an interior window and ricocheted into a lobby hallway wall.
A person was about 14 feet away from the wall.
No injuries were reported, and the incident is under investigation.
