Old Coca-Cola building in Gastonia’s FUSE District to become loft apartments

GASTONIA, N.C. — A developer based in Gaston County is embarking on yet another project at Gastonia’s Franklin Urban Sports and Entertainment District.

Cramerton-based Lenox Development Group is leading a new project at FUSE. It’s called The Dillinger, an adaptive-reuse project that will include 20 new loft apartments.

The project calls for the redevelopment of one of the buildings at the former Coca-Cola bottling plant site at the FUSE District. Lenox, which is led by Eric Vargosko, is redeveloping the other former Coca-Cola building there into a commercial project named Hangar 618.

The Dillinger calls for an approximately $15 million investment.

Vargosko and his team are planning to make a permit submittal for The Dillinger in the next 90 days.
