HICKORY, N.C. — An old furniture plant on 24th Street NE in Hickory, N.C. caught on fire around midnight, according to sources.
Fire investigators said there was so much damage to the building that the cause of the fire will be difficult to determine.
The building still had running power, however the plant was no longer in use, according to reports.
Fire investigators said the fire most likely started in the basement, and no injuries have been reported.
Channel 9 reached out to the responding agency to gather more details about this fire. We are waiting to hear back.
