HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — An overnight fire at a Huntersville hotel forced several guests to relocate.
Firefighters were called around 1 a.m. to the Quality Inn on Caldwell Creek Drive, off Sam Furr Road. When they arrived they reported heavy flames coming from a second-floor window.

Crews told Channel 9 that the flames and water damaged several rooms, but nobody was hurt.
Investigators are still trying to determine how the fire started.
