GAINESVILLE, Florida — A passenger is facing a hefty fine after trying to sneak three knives in a hollowed-out book onto a flight to Charlotte, according to the Transportation Security Administration.
A spokesperson for TSA in the Gulf Coast posted on Twitter that agents at the Gainesville Regional Airport in Florida caught a 57-year-old passenger with three knives hidden in a hollowed-out book.

Authorities said the passenger, who was headed to Charlotte, was going through security when agents spotted the knives using an X-ray.
“Our officers -- expert at interpreting X-ray images -- found the threat,” the tweet read.
The passenger is facing a fine of more than $4,000. Their name was not released.
