Person fatally shot in Bessemer City, officials say

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting early Sunday morning in Bessemer City.

The shooting happened at an apartment complex near Yellow Jacket Lane.

Officials have not released the identity of the victim or said how the shooting happened at this point.
