CONCORD, N.C. — Five people are charged with shipping more than two tons of marijuana to Concord.
Those accused in the suspected drug ring, Pamela Alegria, Cesar Linares, Javier Nava, Ana Ramos, Sergio Linares, were busted by the FBI in April.
Agents said they were part of a group linked to Mexican drug dealers.
Investigators said they shipped pot in furniture trucks then shipped it to storage warehouses in Concord.
All five are being held in the Cabarrus County jail under $1 million bonds.
