Police: Child hospitalized after nearly drowning in hotel pool

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A child was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center after nearly drowning in a Mooresville hotel pool Thursday.

Police in Iredell County said the child almost drowned at the Fairfield Inn off Interstate 77.

Channel 9 is now working to find out how the child is doing.
