Police: Gastonia man arrested for spraying fire extinguisher on school bus

GASTONIA, N.C. — A Gastonia man is accused of using a fire extinguisher to tamper with a school bus, police said.

Police charged Brandon Ledford, 20, on Friday with second-degree trespassing and tampering with vehicle parts, Channel 9’s news partners at the Gaston Gazette reported.

Police said he illegally boarded a bus on April 30 at H.H. Beam Elementary, removed the fire extinguisher and sprayed it on the bus.

Ledford is being held in the Gaston County Jail on $1,000 bond.
