Police: Man arrested with $12K of meth after high-speed chase

LAWNDALE, N.C. — A Cleveland County man is accused of leading police on a high-speed chase after trying to deal drugs.

Ronald Goode is facing several charges, including trafficking meth and reckless driving.

Police said he led them on a 14-mile chase that ended on Pete Mauney Road in Lawndale, N.C.

Officers said they seized nearly $12,000 worth of meth from his car.
