CLOVER, S.C. — A man was shot in the groin and another arrested Friday night, according to Clover police. The shooting happened on 113 Queensgate Road.
When officers arrived, they were met by neighbors and family members who led them to Warren Duvant, 22, who was sitting in a chair in the front yard.
Duvant told officers he was shot by Aundraveious McDowell, according to a news release. Duvant was taken to Carolinas Medical Center.
Officers, with the assistance of a K-9 unit, were able to find McDowell in a nearby home. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
McDowell was taken to the Moss Justice Center where he was served with warrants and will later receive a bond.
