SALISBURY, N.C. — Salisbury police say a missing 11-year-old girl has been found safe after she disappeared Friday evening.
Update to the missing child post: Luna has been located safe, and is in the custody of law enforcement. Her family is expected to reunite with her soon. We appreciate the FBI for its support during this search, as well as our followers for sharing this post.

Salisbury police tweeted Saturday morning Luna Nunez had been found safe and was in the custody of law enforcement officers. They also said her family was expecting to be reunited with her soon.
When she disappeared, Nunez was last seen near Cinemark Tinseltown USA on Faith Road.
She has shoulder-length hair and before she was found, she was last seen wearing gray jeans with holes and an oversized, black GAP hoodie.
