CHARLOTTE — A lot of people may be feeling anxious and overwhelmed with the current stay-at-home order. Many of you are learning how to work from home, while also figuring out home-schooling. What does Mecklenburg County’s ‘stay at home’ order mean for you?

BEAHealthy owner Brandi Williams says learning to meditate is one way to reduce stress. That could mean taking a few minutes to close your eyes and rest, do a breathing exercise or go for a walk.

Williams also says remember to stay connected and check on friends and loved ones during this time. She suggested having a virtual dinner date or talking on the phone since social distancing can get lonely.

However, many of you may have the opposite problem. For some, it’s difficult to get a minute alone during this time. You may be juggling working from home and home-schooling your children.
