CORNELIUS, N.C. — Neighbors in Cornelius got the chance to question a developer about plans for a boutique hotel off Sam Furr Road.

The project would include 45 hotel rooms, 10 cottages, and a spa.
The town board did not decide on the project on Monday night.
The developer behind the proposal is the same one who proposed the Lagoona Bay development in Huntersville in 2023, which failed.
