CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — More development projects could come to Catawba County.
The Charlotte Business Journal reports the CEO of Prysmian says the $1 billion investment to expand its Claremont facility could be just the beginning.
The money is adding 385 jobs and space to the building.
According to CBJ, the company says this is driven by surging demand for fiber-optic cables, especially from data centers.
