The city of Rock Hill has given the green light for a $1 million BMX racing track.
The Herald in Rock Hill reported the project will be built in the Riverwalk area.
USA BMX has promised the track will host two state championships, one regional championship and one national event each year.
Rock Hill officials expect the project to be completed by February of next year.
