ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police are investigating after a fatal two-car crash in York County late Saturday night.
The crash happened just after 10:30 p.m. on South Heckle Boulevard in Rock Hill.
Officers responded to the area after getting reports about a 2000 Ford Mustang and a 2005 Saturn that were involved in a crash.
Officials said drivers of both cars were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A 36-year-old passenger from the Saturn was transported to Piedmont Medical Center, but later died from their injuries.
Authorities have not said what led up to the crash. The Rock Hill Series Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team will continue to investigate.
