A Rowan County funeral home worker has been arrested, accused of stealing from a widow.
Vickie Threatt was arrested Friday night.
She is charged with forgery, credit card fraud, identity theft and obtaining property by false pretenses.
Threatt, who worked for Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, offered to help an elderly woman with her finances after her husband died.
Police said she was using the account for her own benefit.
