CHARLOTTE — Roy Cooper brought his “Make Stuff Cost Less” campaign to Charlotte Saturday.
Copper is running to represent North Carolina as a U.S. Senator.
He held the event at Sugar Creek Brewing.
Cooper says he’s running to make life more affordable across the state.
“I’m a prisoner of hope. I truly believe this is an opportunity for our best days to be ahead of us,” said Cooper. “And I’m ready to go to work and guess what folks? There are people all over this state who are ready to go to work.”
Early voting is now underway in North Carolina and runs through Oct. 31.
