• S.C. hacking scandal: Victims to receive notifications

SOUTH CAROLINA - There is new information Saturday about the South Carolina computer security breach.

After several delays, the state will finally start sending notifications to victims on Monday.

Hackers stole personal information from 2.6 million people from state databases earlier this year.

The deadline for affected taxpayers to sign up for free credit monitoring has been extended to March 31.
