CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Alston Richardson pivoted when his initial plans to launch a brewery fell through earlier this year.
His efforts paid off.
Richardson snagged a 1,800-square-foot space in Harrisburg for what will be known as Pharr Mill Brewing Co. — tied to the town’s historic grain mill.
“This is a brewery that’s for them. It’s for the people to feel a connection with,” Richardson says.
He has teamed up with Kevin Bitner on that venture. Richardson estimates they’ll invest roughly $300,000 into the brewery at 105 Oakley Drive.
