GASTONIA, N.C. — Classrooms in a Gastonia school are being cleaned, after a back-up in a sewer line.
Teachers at Rhyne Elementary School discovered the problem in bathrooms of five classrooms Tuesday morning.
The students in four kindergarten classes were moved to the schools media center. There was no suitable space for the 18 children in the school's pre-K class. Parents were asked to pick up the students.
School officials said the problem has been repaired.
