SHELBY, N.C. — Shelby police arrested a woman after they said she castrated a man with her bare hands following an argument on Saturday.
Police charged Joyce Gregory, 35, with malicious castration and assault with serious bodily injury.
Police said Gregory got into a heated argument with a man and grabbed his scrotum, squeezing his testicles and causing serious injury.
Police arrested Gregory at a home on Bowman Street around 3:40 a.m.
She was sent to jail, with bail set at $20,000.
