CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has canceled a Silver Alert for a 80-year-old Charlotte man, who is believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said David Gary left his home on 35th Street Saturday around 1:30 p.m. They said Gary suffers from dementia and his family was concerned for his well-being.
Police said Gary was found late Saturday night and officers are working to reunite him with his family.
