Authorities are asking people to be on the lookout for a man who went missing from Matthews.
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety issued a Silver Alert on Monday for Allen Raynold Worth, Jr., 74. He was last seen at a home on Savannah Hills Drive, and he was reportedly traveling to Sanderling Resort in Duck, North Carolina.
According to DPS, Worth may have Alzheimer’s disease or be suffering from dementia.
Worth could be driving a silver 2012 Volkswagen Passat with the NC license plate SXL1302.
