Sinkhole will shut down lane of Wilkinson Blvd. until Friday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One lane of Wilkinson Boulevard remains blocked in west Charlotte Thursday after a small sinkhole opened up.

The outbound lane is blocked near the Walmart, after the road caved in Wednesday afternoon.

That right hand, outbound lane is expected to be shut down through Friday afternoon.
